Used to provide restraint to wound dressings or limbs for bandaging and fixation.

Scenarios

Post-operative fixation: Post-operative wound dressing fixation is crucial. Self-adhesive elastic bandages eliminate the need for tape, reducing the risk of skin allergies, and providing moderate pressure to aid post-operative recovery.

Catheter fixation: In departments such as pediatrics, strict requirements exist for the fixation of head or hand catheters. Self-adhesive elastic bandages provide better fixation of catheters and needles, preventing movement.

Dressing and splint fixation: The inherent elasticity allows for secure dressing fixation, preventing displacement or detachment due to improper bandaging.

Pressure Hemostasis: Can be used for pressure hemostasis in some bleeding situations.

Prevention and Adjunctive Therapy: Plays an important role in the prevention of post-operative varicose veins and the adjunctive treatment of venous ulcers.

Pre-exercise Protection: Wrapping self-adhesive elastic bandages around joints before exercise provides compression and stability to the ankle joint, tightening the skin to reduce the impact on muscles and lowering the risk of various injuries. It's a staple for athletes.

Treatment of Sports Injuries: In case of sprains, it can provide temporary fixation and bandaging to prevent swelling and reduce pain.

Pet Care: Used in veterinary medicine for pet injury and post-operative care. It does not stick to hair, making it practical for dressing fixation without causing discomfort to pets.

Daily First Aid: A must-have for home first-aid kits, allowing for quick bandage fixation, hemostasis, or support of injured limbs in emergencies.

Product Composition

The warp of the bandage contains elastic materials such as nylon, polyester, spandex, rubber bands, and high-twist cotton yarn, while the weft uses cotton yarn, artificial cotton yarn, rubber bands, and spandex.

Performance Parameters

1. The bandage should be clean and free of stains, residues, and serious weaving defects;

2. The roll should be neat and the edges even, with no splicing in each roll;

3. The weaving should be neat, the thickness uniform, and the color consistent.

4. Physical and chemical indicators: Elongation at break not less than 150%, recovery rate not more than 80% of the full stretched length.

Instructions for Use

1. Check that the outer packaging is intact before opening.

2. Take out the self-adhesive elastic bandage and bandage/fix the area that needs to be fixed/bandaged.

3. After use, dispose of the product as medical waste to prevent pollution.

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life

Store at room temperature in a clean environment with no corrosive gases and good ventilation, away from fire and flammable materials. Shelf life is three years. Check the production date and expiration date before use; do not use expired products.
